Dear Momma,
Are the all the kids finally better? I know they have been sick for weeks. That most likely means you haven’t slept at all during that time; baby can’t breath through her nose so she gets mad, toddler is sick of wiping her nose and the ballerina’s constant cough throughout the night. At least the big kids can blow their own noses and know to cough it out.
Are you catching up on sleep at all? Bet you can’t take naps during the day anymore, not with a toddler that jumps the fence or goes under it. If I were you I would try and sneak in an hour or two after you send the hubby off to work. Oh that is right you still have to send the teenager off to school. Ok, well maybe sneak in an hour of sleep after that, if the toddler or baby let you.
How do you keep up with the with everything? Probably don’t. I bet your always behind, battling your very large laundry piles. Thank goodness the teenager does the dishes when she gets home and your boy takes out the garbage; they are such a big helpers. You can get to all that after your most important jobs are done; spending time with baby and toddler who is into everything and potty training. Oh, how is that going? Does she still demand to sit on the potty like a big girl? Well just keep reminding her every half hour or so. She will do like the the other babies, all in good time.
If I were you I would pump in loads of coffee just to keep up? Oh that is right you can’t do that; your 9 weeks pregnant with baby number 6. Are you still really sick with “all-the-time” sickness? Well that is a good sign isn’t it, one of those necessary discomforts so you know baby is still moving along. I bet the older you get and the more babies you have it seems harder and more exhausting. Well I know you will do all you can to get your rest and make sure your baby thrives, because you love your babies so much.
I bet you would like to blog ten times a day because you are always thinking of us, but I am glad that you are taking care of yourself and your family first. That was your whole reason for being a stay at home Mommy right? Well I can see your getting your strength back up, so I’ll see you later.
Love,
Your Thursday Thoughts
