I have been trying to add more whole grains into our diets but it is a challenge because the kids recognize it visually. It is a simple choice for me, but like I said they notices. It is going to get easier for those of us trying to incorporate that change into our families diet. Gold Medal® has their new White Whole Wheat flour. It tastes similar taste and texture to all-purpose white flour.
What is the difference? Gold Medal White Whole Wheat flour is made with hard white spring wheat, unlike most whole wheat flours that are made from hard red spring wheat.
We have more than a few family favorite like biscuits, cinnamon rolls, french bread, pizza dough, cookies, muffins and brownies.

Well it has our first week of school has passed and we survived. It was a wild ride and guess what we get to do it all over again next week.
The kids have had a great start and they are loving school. They really only have two concerns… they are starving and thirsty at the end of the school day. So next week I will begin having them take water to school and bringing some at the end of the day. That solves one thing, but what about the snacks? Lucky for me, MyBlogSpark.com sent me a very nice prize pack to try out that included Cereal Treat Bars…
The cereal treat boxes came with two box-tops and delicious treats. I whipped those out for the kids and their eyes got all big. ”Mom, where did you get these, they are so good.” Yep I’d have to agree they are very good. If I can’t have my Lucky Charms or Golden Grahams in a bowl why not as a bar.
This is an awesome back-to-school treat my kids love. It is fast, easy and they really like them.
What is in the prize pack?
My son scored the colored pencils for school. My oldest daughter wanted the white board for her locker and I have been using the lunch bags to take to sporting events. I filled it up with water, ice, snacks, milk for baby and on the other side I had a stash of diapers, wipes and anti-bacterial wipes.

I received a box of Cinnamon Cheerios to review. I wish I could tell you we sat around for days nibbling on this new yummy flavor, but I can’t.
Momma was able to nibble on one little bowl and the kids commenced mowing it down! It was gone the next day.
They tried a bowl shortly after my package was delivered.
Then they wanted a bowl for a bed time snack.
Then they wanted a bowl for breakfast the next morning and it was gone!
(insert poof of smoke here!)
It is obvious the kids loved them, but what did Momma think? I loved them of course. Cheerios is a regular in our house, but now they added the Cinnamon Burst flavor with just the right amount of cinnamon to a brand new mix.
The Cinnamon Burst Cheerios contains 20% of the Daily Value of fiber (or 5g per serving), has 9g of sugar, is low in fat, saturated fat free and naturally cholesterol free. Cinnamon Burst Cheerios cereal also provides at least 8g of whole grain per serving; at least 48g recommended daily. The nutrition we expect from Cheerios and a great new flavor.
This is a healthy and yummy breakfast to start my family off on the right foot in the morning with a smile on their little faces..
