It started lightly snow a couple of days ago.  Here is a picture from yesterday morning:

I know it doesn’t look like much to my Chicago and Missouri friends.  This is our first real snow most of winter so far.  Up until a couple of days ago we in the 60’s.

Now it has been snowing for 3 days and we have our first official Snow Day here in Reno.  Here is the same view this morning:

It is getting there and we are still seeing snow fall.

This is great weather for our local Ski Resorts.  Lots of fresh powder.  I’d take a picture of Mt. Rose, but I can’t see it right now.

Enjoy your weekend!

Wow the snow is so beautiful! We have had so much that I am glad that it has moved on and we are getting warmer weather. When we moved to California it took us four days to get there from Tennessee and I remember we were so excited when we say the Reno/ Sparks sign because we new we were getting close to California. Reno is a really neat place.

They love it and want to play in it all the time, but they are also off and on with the colds so I have to play the heavy and keep them from playing in the snow too much. But after 4 days off of school, they were going stir crazy.
