It started lightly snow a couple of days ago. Here is a picture from yesterday morning:
I know it doesn’t look like much to my Chicago and Missouri friends. This is our first real snow most of winter so far. Up until a couple of days ago we in the 60′s.
Now it has been snowing for 3 days and we have our first official Snow Day here in Reno. Here is the same view this morning:
It is getting there and we are still seeing snow fall.
This is great weather for our local Ski Resorts. Lots of fresh powder. I’d take a picture of Mt. Rose, but I can’t see it right now.

Wow the snow is so beautiful! We have had so much that I am glad that it has moved on and we are getting warmer weather.When we moved to California it took us four days to get there from Tennessee and I remember we were so excited when we say the Reno/ Sparks sign because we new we were getting close to California. Reno is a really neat place.

WooHoo! Any amount of snow that’s different from your average is enough! How are the kids enjoying it?
They love it and want to play in it all the time, but they are also off and on with the colds so I have to play the heavy and keep them from playing in the snow too much. But after 4 days off of school, they were going stir crazy.
