Hello everybody and welcome to this weeks Meal Plan Monday. This is the third week my friend Krissy and I have been working to take weight loss and healthy life style up to a new level. We are both busy Moms and while talking one day we came to the same conclusion, being unprepared for dinners has left us stranded way too many times. What did we do when unprepared with dinner? Get fast food of course and that just under minds all our weight loss efforts.
We have four goals:
- We have decided to use Paleo Recipes as to benefit our weight loss goals
- Those Paleo Recipes need to be as Family Friendly as possible
- Find similar ingredient recipes for affordability and ease of prep
- Make as much of our meals ahead of time as possible
Granted there are times my family will not go for what I’m making but it is a start.
We researched Paleo recipes on the internet. All the recipes we use are on our Paleo Recipe Pinterest board.
Today is Monday, I’m about to prepare as best I can to make these meals as much ahead of time as I can. I would like to use mostly ingredients I have on hand so I don’t have to get too much at the store. I scoured my fridge and would like to use the following ingredients:
- Butternut Squash, Celery, Tomato, Kale, Chard, Carrots, Salmon and Chicken
Here are the recipes I have decided to make this week. They will make great dinners and paleo breakfasts…

For the Salmon, I will do a basic salt & pepper bake (I’ll share the recipe I use this week) but make the chard and kale on the side. Here are the recipes I’m choosing for that:
