Wordless Wednesday – Her gift to me

Much of the time being a stay at home Mom seems like a thankless job.  Instead of a raise, a bonus or a pat on the back we find  accolades in other ways.

How do I find successes?  When my kids are sweet to each other, when a stranger compliments their good behavior  or when they are honest even though they know they might be in trouble.

But every once in a while I get something like this:

My 4 year old brought me this little set of blocks.  I told her how nice it was then she said, “this is a trophy for you Mom because your the best cook in the world!”

Yes I got a little teary-eyed and gave her a big ol’ hug.

Happy Wordless Wednesday friends,  may you have a great day.
