Hi Ladies,
Yep, I am super excited. The hubby had an epiphany and wants to do Alysa’s plan with me – kind of… We aren’t going to worry about calories for him. He can’t eat large amounts like he use to, but what he does eat we want to be the good stuff. It is like a huge, giant step for him to let go of the things he is use to eating.
So to help us out, we have a new motto…

Pretty simple right and may not be true for all things, but we need to take all the thinking out it.
What does this mean for me? Less different meals to prepare. I usually prepare three meals and it is a pain in the booty. Now I will prepare just one. I just have to learn to prepare Alysa’s way on a larger scale.
So i’m going to make it as easy as possible for him which in turn makes it easy for me. What I am going to do is set out a bunch of Post-it’s with dinners lunches and breakfast. Kind of like this:
So I’ll have something like this and have him pick what sounds good and then I will prepare our shopping list using it.
I think this will work out great.
I’m also keeping my eye out for rice bread and researching the benefits of coconut oil.
Tonight is MamavationTV and they will be discussing “Working Yourself Out”

Preparing one meal is WAY more tolerable!
Tell me about it Liz
The motto is so true too! Have you looked into Paleo eating?
thank you Hanan. Briefly, but it does seem to be the same concept.
