6 Weeks Postpartum

Woo Hoo.  I went to my 6 week postpartum check-up and my wonderful Doctor has released me to run amuck I mean exercise freely.

What does the mean for me?  Well, I could do a whole bunch of exercising and restrict my diet or  I could start out slowly and build good habits.

Where should I begin?  Baby Steps…

  • Eating Breakfast
  • Drinking Water
  • Working out 3 times a week – I have received exercise videos to try out one with a Kettle Bell Champ Jessica DiBiase and the other with Mike Donavanik doing some interval training.  Granted I won’t be able to go all out, but I’ll do my best.
I’ll be doing this for 2 weeks to help build good than I’ll reassess and up the ante, again little by little.

BLOGGING CARNIVAL:    What is your plan to avoid overindulging during holiday feasts?

Wow that is such a hard one isn’t?  I mean many of us celebrate with food and I am making a ton of it.  My plan is to stick to my guns for one thing.  Oh don’t get me wrong, I am going to eat everything, but that doesn’t mean we have to eat 10 plates of everything.  I’ll be having a small spoon of everything so I can enjoy the fruits of my cooking labor, but also so I don’t sabotage all my progress.

Woohoo for your release! Great plan to start simple and slow to build awesome habits. I started with mandatory 3x a week physical therapy which prepared me for mamavation mom time.
I know you are going to do awesome because you took the 1st step, announcing it. I usually lose track of time, but I’ll be checking in on you :) good luck!

I have to say, while looking through hundreds of blogs daily, the theme of this blog is different (for all the proper reasons). If you do not mind me asking, what’s the name of this theme or would it be a especially designed affair? It’s significantly better compared to the themes I use for some of my blogs.
