Earth Day is here again and I was wondering what new ways you have been incorporating the spirit of Earth Day year round. We have been working hard to recycle and to create less waste in the first place. We have used recycled wood to build our chicken coop. I recycle food packaging to make crafts, learning activities for the kids and for better organizing around our house. This year I am working to get the kids involved.
Probably the biggest way we taught our children the reason for recycling and we are trying so hard to recycle and use less resources was the day we went to the local land fill. Sometimes kids need to see where a product ends up.
On a more light-hearted note here are some fun activities to celebrate and learn how to keep our earth clean.
