Now that spring has finally sprung and the kids are back at school, it is time for me to get my annual spring cleaning list done. That means I’ll get my old cleaning tools out one more time. My favorites are a mop bucket, sponge, and a good multi-purpose cleaner. Today I’m using lavender scented Fabuloso® on all the places I don’t normally clean through out the week; the nooks and crannies. You can find a Printable Spring Cleaning list at the end of this post.
The two things I remember most while growing up… my Mom blasting her music and throwing away the broom. The music and silliness helped the time fly. Getting rid of the mops, brooms, etc was a way of saying goodbye to the old and starting new and it is a tradition that I still use. This is something handed down to my bisabuela (Great Grandmother) in Mexico and I love the idea.
Now it is time to clean those hard to reach spots I’d like to avoid year round. So, after a trip to the store for fresh cleaning supplies the music comes on and I get busy. I like to start out with a HOT soapy bucket and sponge. This time I added the lavender scented Fabuloso® I bought from Walmart. Wow! That smells amazing…
Here is a Printable Spring Cleaning List that I use, it takes the thinking out of it and I just work.
My house is all clean now, for however long that may be and my new mop and broom are ready to start a new. I used the Fabuloso® we picked up at Walmart. Look for an end cap in Walmart stores with the Fabuloso products, they have a special end cap this week. Of all the scents I am glad I chose Lavender. It smells wonderful and lasts a long time while not being too strong or overwhelming.
While your picking up spring cleaning supplies, be sure to check out all the Fabuloso® scents and sizes. I would love to know your favorite!
