I’m always looking for ways to make a holiday experience unique, this cute Valentine’s Day Drink recipe is no exception.
I know many loved ones are running around trying to make today a special day for someone. Sometimes that just means stopping everything, being with each other I mean really being with each other.
♥ Turn off your phones
♥ Turn off the TV
♥ Ask each other about their day
♥ Actually listen to what they have to say without interrupting
Our days are so busy and I think we get lost in the everyday activities that we forget to take a small moment and make each other feel special. Our days are very busy tending to the family, going to work, taking the kids to school, helping with homework, making sure chores are done, and making dinner.
I know the days’ needs are endless but so are the reasons you fell in love with your spouse. Taking small moments to appreciate each other will go a long way to help this happen and give each other a little boost going forward.
A small gesture or moment could be sharing this delicious Valentine’s Drink recipe in the evening after the kids go to bed. If you don’t drink alcohol, just omit the champaign.
More Valentine’s ideas that won’t cost a penny:
♥ Doing Dishes, Cleaning the house
♥ Watching the kids while she naps or goes shopping
♥ Watching their favorite movie
♥ Making their favorite dinner
♥ Long back rub, message
You see where I’m going right? Small gestures go a long way.
