A short time ago I was creating sandwich recipes for Mezzetta’s #MakeThatSandwich. I made so many sandwich and entered them, but I forgot all about my favorite one. The Mini Pesto Crustini or at least that is the name I gave it. With the end of the loaf of Boule this is what I created.
Brush your slice of boule with olive oil and toast in a pan.
Generously add some Mezzetta Homemade Style Pest on each slice. (I am completely hooked on this stuff)
Next I added a generous portion of Mezzetta’s Roasted Red Peppers. These aren’t pickled but smokey and delicious.
Then add a nice slice of deli turkey rolled on top.
Top with a Mezzetta Jack Cheese stuffed olive (YUM) and Viola!
Thank you to Mezzetta Foods for sending all the delicious goodies to create my own sandwiches. I will never turn down more of that Pesto, wink wink! I have it on good authority that the contest has been extended and closes on September 2nd. So go #makethatsandwich.
