This week the kids were buzzing because I received a large box with a variety of Peeps to cook and craft with. I grabbed the kiddos and we were off to the kitchen. We made a bunch of cupcakes, some were Peep-A-Boo cupcakes, some cupcakes had Peepsters® inside and others had Peeps® on top. Here are some fun ideas on How to make peeps cupcakes.

To me Easter means a lot of things and one of the things I think of when I think of Easter is Chocolate. My favorite chocolates are dark, so for this batch of cupcakes we used a devils food cake mix and a dark chocolate frosting.
The first batch of cupcakes had Peepsters® on the inside and on the top.
Fill 1/3 of your cake mix in the cupcake cups then add your Peepsters. Cover your peepster with more cake mix till it is approximately 3/4 filled (you made need to use a spoon to cover the little peepster chocolates):
While those are baking let’s get started on the “Peep-a-Boo” cupcakes…
For this batch we used the Bunny Peeps. Fill your cupcake cups 1/3 of the way full and cut the peeps in half like so:
Place the bottom half of your bunny in your cupcake and reserve the top for later:
Cover the bunny bottom with more cake mix and bake according to the instructions on the cake mix.
Once they are all baked and cooled it is time to frost them. Add the peepsters to the top of the cupcakes with peepsters inside and add the Bunny tops you reserved to the cupcakes with bunnies bottoms inside. We baked a batch of plain cupcakes too, these would be great for various other peeps… Now it’s time for a Peeps Party!!!
