MommaYoung’s Drop Biscuit Recipe
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 stk butter/margarine
1 cup milk
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.Mix dry ingredients first. Cut butter into dry mixture with fork (flat cheese grader works too) until pea size crumbs are left. Add Milk (don’t over mix) and drop onto greased cookie sheet about 2″ inches apart.
- Bake for 22 minutes.
- Serve hot with butter and your favorite Jam or Honey…
That is it. Easiest drop biscuits ever…
If you are adapting this biscuit recipe for chicken and dumplings, omit the butter and add two tablespoons of oil instead.
