Need some creative ways to celebrate Valentine’s day? Here is a guest post with great ideas…
Valentine’s Day is more than exchanging gifts and having a romantic dinner with your significant other. As a day that celebrates love in all its forms, there are plenty of things you can do for your significant other, friends and even for strangers. But above all, there are things you can do for yourself that will make you feel good. Here are some ways to enjoy this day, whether you are in a relationship or not.

Bake cookies/cake:
Making a desert is one of the perfect ways to enjoy the holiday of love. Creativity and romance will result in a delicious desert and what is Valentine’s Day without some delicious chocolate?
Make a Handmade Valentine’s Card:
If you have someone special in your life, why don’t you make a card for them with your own hands. There are lovely Valentine’s cards you can buy, but there is nothing better than taking the time to make something so special and unique for your partner.
Write a Love Letter:
One of the loveliest ways to surprise your loved one is by sending them a handwritten letter. This outdated way of corresponding is by far the most romantic thing you can do. Pour a drop of your perfume so they can sense it when they open the letter.

Go Partying:
If you are single and you want to have some fun, why miss the opportunity. Call a few of your single friends and hit the dance floor. Who knows – you might even meet somebody special on Valentine’s.
Try Something for the First Time:
Whether you are in a relationship or not, be spontaneous and adventurous and do something you’ve never tried before. Sign for a dance class or go bungee jumping. Book a weekend getaway with a friend and enjoy the thrill.
Organize a Slumber Party:
If you are single and you don’t want to be alone on Valentine’s Day, why don’t you organize a slumber party for you and your single friends. Rent some romantic movies on DVD, pick up some board games, buy chocolate and wine and celebrate properly with laughs and gossip. It’s one of the most relaxing ways to spend this day, without dressing up or trying to impress anybody.

Plan a Day full of Surprises:
You have a partner and you want to spend the best Valentine’s Day together? It’s time to browse events and places in town where you could go. A day full of outdoor activities, cinema, dining and drinks will easily turn into the biggest surprise and one of your most memorable times together. Your loved one will be thrilled because each activity will be a surprise.
All of these ideas will help you have a lovely Valentine’s Day, whether you are in a relationship or not.
