Hello Ladies…
Baby girl will be 3 weeks old this Wednesday and I am feeling so much better.
The breast infection has finally past, that was so miserable and so was the inability to go… LOL. Seemed like my tush was numb for two weeks after the epidural and forgot how to go.
This morning I was 278 pounds that was down from the 310 I was on the day I gave birth. It pains me to admit my actual weight, but I have to let go to let go right?
The doctor had me on lifting restrictions for the first to weeks after baby was born. He feared organ prolapse because I have had so many babies. Not to mention the lack of muscle tone.
I’m not really sure what to do first. I am doing kegels and actually got a walk in. Today we will take another walk; baby in my pouch, 1 yo in the stroller, and 3 yo by my side. This may be like herding cats, but I’ll give it a try. I just have to get out there.
Digging out my pedometer so I can track steps and elastic bands to work my upper body. Any other ideas?
Ok off to the carnival…
BLOGGING CARNIVAL: This week’s blogging carnival is sponsored by New Balance.
How would you brand your health and wellness lifestyle? How do you want others to know you in this area?
I am not sure how to answer this question or if I want to; out of embarrassment. Sadly I haven’t done much of anything, due to pain, fatigue, and plain old lazyness..
I know I want to be just shy of a fitness nut. I don’t want to pork out all the time, but I don’t want to worry about it so much either. I just want to work out often to get to my goal weight and to better my health.

Glad to hear the infection is clearing up. Those are so horribly painful.
Don’t worry too much about your number, remember that it is going down! Congrats on that.
Keep it up and as you feel better and catch sleep (here and there!) use the energy to dance with your baby or try baby yoga, etc. Give yourself time, love on that little baby and love yourself.
Have a great week!
It is funny how I have been trained to watch the number. Oh I look forward to more sleep, more energy would be nice. Feels like I am dragging. Thanks for stopping by. Im headed to your site.
I wish that I had some brilliant words of advice, but all I can say is just keep moving. Find out from your doctor what is doable and what isn’t. The mamavation sistas are here to support you all the way. Congratulations on your new little one!
Keep Moving is excellent advice. I can’t really stop though because I’ll pass out, LOL… Thank you for the congrats.
Yay! You’re making great progress already. It’s really tough, and I know what you mean. I hate having to focus so much on eating well. It’s not fun!
Yes keep moving! You are going in the right direction. There are thousands of exercises that you can do. Just keep moving!
Congratulations on your bundle of joy. Very happy to hear that your infection is clearing up, those are quite painful. Just remember to take baby steps. Try to move a little more each day, keeping your goal in mind. Have a great week!
I weigh 224 pounds. That’s what the scale said the last time I got on it about a month ago. Throwing that number out there does hurt, but i’m proud of you for getting to a place where you can look forward without concentrating on the scale. good luck.
Hope you were able to have a good walk! Baby steps is the way to go!!
Yes you’ve been through a lot. Keeping it moving is good. Soon you’ll be able to have a consistent schedule.
