When starting towards weight loss goals it helps to have the right tools. I was pretty happy to get my EatSmart Digital Bathroom Digital Scale to review for this give away from the nice folks at Eat Smart.
When we received this well-packaged delivery I was immediately impressed with how sturdy this bathroom scale felt and how it looked. I put the 4 AAA batteries it came with in, the digital displayed a lovely color of blue and we started to test away.
We compaired the EatSmart scale with the one I already had by placing an 8 pound weight on both and guess who was accurate? The Eat Smart scale. Here are some key points about the scale:
- The 3.5″ blue backlit LCD display was easy to read
- It can handle weights up to 330 lbs
- The scale’s weights graduate by .2 lbs
- It is Auto-calibrated so it is always accurate
- 4 AAA Batteries are included
- EatSmart has a 2 Year full warranty
The only thing I noticed that was off was the sticker said to “tap” on top of the scale to start. But mind seemed to prefer to start when I tapped it on the edge. No biggie.
I highly recommend this bathroom scale, it’s an excellent product with a trusted company who stand behind their products 100%.

One step I have taken to improve the eating habits of my family is to serve steamed vegetables with meals instead of packaged or canned ones that contain lots of sodium and calories.

We shop in the veggie and fruit aisle first that way if we end up over budget we put back the fatty snacks that might have snuck into our cart last

Each year our veggie garden gets a bit bigger. This year I want to really expand it so I can grow enough fresh veggies to freeze for use over the winter. I like the idea of eating our own home grown veggies year round, not just in the summer!

We are trying to avoid getting food out; no fast food, no sit downs. We cook at home using fresh ingredients and if we need to eat something fast we go to the deli section at the grocery store and get a small portion of something fresh from there, like a salad or healthy sandwich.

We love fuits and vegetables so no problem there. We are limited the amount of soft drinks and drinking a lot more water. The softdrinks are our biggest healthy eating problem. EatSmart Digital Bathroom Digital Scale look fantastic.

We eat as a family and try to cook healthy meals with lots of fruits and vegetables. Right now we are having our own little biggest loser competition!
I’m helping to improve our eating habits by buying fewer unhealthy snacks and having more fruit available.

One step I’m taking to improve my family’s eating habits is to explain to them exactly what they’re eating, how many calories it has, if it has any nutritional value and if it’s ‘good’ for them or not. I think one of the things that helps people eat better is if they are really informed or not!

This is just a little change

I just had my gallbladder removed and am the “head chef” of the house so because I have to cut fat out of my diet, everyone now has less fat and fried foods are now a luxury and not a regular thing for us anymore.

We make about 95% of our family meals from scratch rather than eating pre-packaged foods.
Thanks for the giveaway… Carbonated soft drinks are persona non grata in our home EXCEPT ginger ale when someone is sick, OR a special occasion when guests might like a soft drink i.e. birthday party, holiday meal, etc.
