Book Giveaway "What I Know…" [Closed]

I received a neat little book to review called “What I Know uncommon wisdom and universal truths from 10-year-olds and 100-year-olds” by Roger Fishman.

In this book, the author takes us on a journey to hear the truths of life through the wisdom of age and the sheer innocence of youth.  Children are such a blessing and a real treat to listen to.  My 5 year old gives me a treat every day  and I so enjoy a nice conversation with an elder.  I even look forward to when I am in that stage of life.  The stage when I have come full circle and have become much wiser.  I am sure I will laugh and giggle when I look back at my thoughts on life and the ways I did things.

When I read this book I felt right at home.  I thought this would be good for my kids to read as they get older because it has such positive messages.  I also thought how nice it would have been to have words like this to look on when I was growing up.

Enjoy this trailer for the book:

I think this book would be great for young and old alike.  Maybe tucked in a stocking, wrapped in shinny paper or handed to someone you care about.

This book can be found at all the major book suppliers.  Here is the link to it at Amazon.

In the mean time, how about winning a signed copy?  There are a lot of ways to enter, but only the first is mandatory, please comment after each action.

My daughter taught me the trick of erasing the world impossible. When we try to explain her why something is really not possible at all, She simply gives an impossible solution and says “Why not?”, Of course, she is not street smart, but her creativity gives us a big shot on the arm!

My son has taught me so much I don’t know where to start. He has the biggest heart in the world and can never understand why a person would ever want to hurt another person. He has taught me how to be a better person, how to look at everyone and see the good in everything and treat everyone the respect that I myself would want.

  44. Heather! says:

When my nephew was 4 years old he stayed with me one day. He was having a rough day, and I’d had to fuss at him a few times, which was very rare. We decided at one point to go for a walk, and as we walked, mostly quiet, he let out a deep and troubled sigh, and then said, “Man, I am just not livin’ my life today!” I thought it was one of the most profound things I’d ever heard! Leave it to a four-year-old to understand that life it too short for bad moods!!
