I love getting flowers now and then, but Valentine’s isn’t just for husbands and wives or boyfriends and girl friends. The kiddos love Valentine’s Day for many reasons
- all the activity with the cards;
- picking their favorite ones
- filling them out
- giving them to their friends
- and receiving them
The kids love getting hands busy with crafts. This year I wanted to do something unique with my daughters. My kids came home from school and went nuts about the Friendship Bracelet kit I had on the table.
All the kids except the two babies sat down and started working. Their biggest dilemma was how to keep the thread taught while they knotted. Here are my suggestions:
- Use a safety pin on the carpet (my stand by when I was a youngster)
- tape it to the table
- use a clip board

The children love to make cards, for any reason. They make alot of cards, and I put their pictures on the back of them, so that they people getting the cards, can see how fast they are growing.
My children and I love making valentines for other people out of paper and whatever else we have laying around the house.
We like to bake heart shapes cookies together.
I would do this activity with my girls so much fun!

We make homemade cards for their cousins and make a paper valentine wreath to decorate with.
I like to help the kid cut out Valentines with construction paper and decorate them. We then tape them to the walls and windows. Thanks.
